It COULD be that up to now you may not have known that Papua and Africa have a close history. Want to know? The historical closeness between Papua and Africa was explained by Evi Aryati Arbay, Indonesian Tour Operator Trip Advisor.
“Papua and Africa have the same historical closeness. In this case it is about human movements both in terms of tradition and culture,” he explained in Jakarta, recently.
According to him, in terms of rituals they have similarities as well as the skin color of both Africans and Papuans.
“Papua and Africa both use pork as a sacrificial stage, because pork is the main food for both,” he explained again.
Even though they have similarities, Evi believes that there are certainly differences between the two. Where is the difference?
“In terms of body posture, Africa is much bigger and taller than Papua, but on the other hand, Papua has a much better life than Africa. One of these factors is water and sanitation, not to mention the geography. Papua is much more fertile,” he concluded.
